About Paris
Expert Analysis

Now listed at 6’2, Paris was making plays on both ends of the floor for Powerhouse Minnesota. He has the quickness to pressure the ball hard in the half-court, and off the ball he has good instincts to jump passing lanes for steals. His energy helped Powerhouse MN force a bunch of turnovers across the weekend, and once in transition, he excelled at getting to the rim to finish. In the half-court he provides a three point shooting threat for his team, with the ability to quickly get a shot off on the wing, and with range extending a few feet beyond the arc.

Despite a slow scoring start for both teams, Pollard quickly got active in the box score. He hit a nice step back 3, and it was evident that his confidence immediately rose. The rest of the first half was all Pollard, whether it was stepping behind the arc and nailing a triple or taking it all the way through the lane for an acrobatic layup. One play sp ECI fically turned some heads when Pollard made his defender stumble and fall over, but kept composure to knock down the mid-range jumper. His scoring kept his teams energy up all game, and a dunk attempt that just barely rimmed out would’ve taken the roof off the place.

Pollard put on a dominant performance from the guard spot. He brought the heat and had a major impact on the game on both ends with his quickness and explosiveness. He looked on a different level. I think he scored around 30 right in front of my eyes. He was defending, getting to the cup, dishing, hitting threes, and lethal in transition.

Paris was one of my favorite players to watch on Sunday with the combination of his skill and athleticism. He attacked the basket with no fear, being able to absorb lots of contact for a finish. He brought good energy on the defensive end, poking the ball away from opposing ball handlers for steals. He was tough to stop in transition, as he could convert on a full speed score himself or find a teammate for an assist. Pollard is also a threat from the perimeter, being able to create separation using the dribble for pull-up makes from three point land.
