After falling behind big in the first half, Kamp’s second half helped bring Johnson back into the game. He became a lot more aggressive looking for his own shots, and his outside shooting touch helped open things up for Johnson. After draining a handful of jumpers, Minnehaha was forced to stretch their defense out, helping open up some more driving lanes for his teammates. He finished with a team high 16 points on Monday night.

Guarino put in a super solid performance on Saturday, leading his team to a hard fought win. He has a strong 6’1” frame and could use that to work inside for strong finishes or to grab contested rebounds. With that, he impressed me most with his shooting from the perimeter. He was taking advantage of the defense being in a zone, knocking down looks out of the catch-and-shoot. He could move well without the ball to find space in the defense that could free him for an open look. Kamp and Powerhouse also found a lot of success getting out and running in transition.
