Reese is a player who makes our watch list, and is a player that I feel like we’re going to hear a lot about for the next few years. He was one of the more controlled guards that we saw from this class and he has a great understanding of the game. He knows where to be on the floor, has good timing on his cuts and also can run the offense. Reese is a smaller guard so naturally, opposing guards want to push up on him. From what we saw, he handles pressure well, still creates looks from teammates and understands when there are actually openings to attack. He gets to the floater and that will be something that continues to free him up so I hope he keeps that in his arsenal as well as the ability to knock down the 3-ball as well. Reese is a floor general that can run the offense as well as come off the ball and get himself involved as well and is a player I am sure we will hear about very soon. He jumps on the watch list as a name to circle and check back in on. Solid prospect.

Reese looked comfortable being responsible for the pace of the game. He’s a smaller guard so guys tried to pressure him and be physical with him, and that was completely fine for him. He didn’t seem rushed with the ball and showed some natural floor-general qualities, understanding when to organize things and when an opportunity was there to attack. Reese created looks for teammates and mixed in a nice floater when he got into the paint, giving him a counter against size around the basket. His game wasn’t built around forcing difficult shots, and I don’t remember him taking a bad shot on the day. He spaced the floor and there was a level of control to his game that made him interesting to watch.

Reese left the Centennial State Cup as a player I wanted another evaluation on for that 24MD Team Daum . The shot-making was there, but I also liked how he competed on both ends and made opposing guards uncomfortable. Showcases need that, teams need that! If he brings that same confidence shooting the basketball and defensive intensity to the showcase, he’ll have another chance to put himself on more radars. It would certainly be a big push from us if he has a big day.

Reese stood out as a two-way guard who brought intensity and production to both ends of the floor. Defensively, he applied strong on ball pressure, disrupting opposing guards and forcing turnovers with his quickness and effort. His ability to stay engaged and challenge ball handlers made him a valuable defender. Offensively, Reese was highly effective from beyond the arc, consistently knocking down three point shots and making defenses pay for leaving him open. His confidence as a shooter and ability to capitalize on opportunities helped him standout. Reese’s well rounded performance made him one of the more impactful guards that you should know heading into Sunday.
