The third straight prospect featured in this article who played on the Prep Hoops Circuit, Gamble is a high academic prospect who showed his scoring ability all summer. With impressive dribble moves and pace off the bounce, Gamble can get to his spots and rise up for easy buckets. A prospect who should be near the top of Division III radars across the region, Gamble could be an instant impact player at that level.

Gamble first got on our radar in May with a couple strong weekends with his Nova-Germany squad. He continued this impressive play with Olentangy Berlin. An impressive shot maker and athlete from the guard position, Gamble has impressive burst and self-creation ability. Olentangy Berlin has an experienced group returning and could be a sleeper team in central Ohio this winter with Gamble,

and more shooters returning from last season. Expect regional small college programs to make Gamble a priority this winter.

The most dynamic guard I scouted in the 17 U group this weekend, Gamble can really create for himself off the bounce and keeps the defense on their toes. Able to drive, switch directions and change pace with his ball handling ability, Gamble can get out of tricky situations and turn those into advantages for his team. One of the toughest players to guard at the entire event, a college coach raved about Gamble’s talents to me during the event. With his ability to make plays off the bounce, Gamble is certainly a GameChanger.

One of the bigger risers this spring and summer, Gamble has burst onto the scene and is playing with a lot of confidence right now. A guard who looks to create for himself off the dribble, Gamble is tough to keep in front of when he’s attacking downhill. Best shooting from mid-range off the bounce, I want to see Gamble consistently make 3-point shots as well. In transition, Gamble can change directions quickly and leave defenders in the dust. Olentangy Berlin started five seniors and have a lot of talent on their team, they could be a sleeper in central Ohio.

Gamble has had a strong end to his spring with back-to-back impressive May weekend performances with his Nova-Germany squad. A point guard with good pace, tough and a capable shot-maker from the mid-range, Gamble has a lot of traits that small college coaches look for. I expect his recruitment to take a spike in the month of June as college team camps and Midwest Live will be great opportunities for him to be seen by the right small college coaches.

Gamble made a name for himself last weekend as one of our other writers caught him dominating at this same gym. Tonight, it was my turn to see the steps Gamble has taken since the high school season. Always been a guard with good pace, Gamble get play in the in between area that’s so key at the next level. An active player, Gamble just finds himself involved in a lot of plays on both ends of the court. Whether it’s active help defense, a swing pass, loose ball, Gamble is just doing something on the court often. A small college name to track, Gamble projects as one of central Ohio’s top senior guards next season.

Gamble is a hooper. The kid is sneakily athletic. He has very quick and bouncy movements. He is a lefty with a nice smooth jumper. Makes it at a high clip. A very confident kid that competes. Playing against one of the better teams in the tournament on Sunday during bracket play, he had his best game. He was scoring at all three levels and rose to the occasion. He was giving the other team all they could handle. He has really good hands and anticipation defensively. Really good feel for the game and knows how to play it the right way.
