Kinsella isn’t a new player for us but is one we’ve saw play well in multiple games. We saw him earlier in the spring and again at Colorado Live, and he continued to show encouraging pieces of his game each time out. There are stretches where Kinsella looks completely comfortable taking control as the lead guard. He’s confident handling the ball, plays with good feel and has shown the ability to control pace. Miles’ mid range game stood out, he gets to shots that he likes and he can initiate the offense. Playing for the defending state champions will bring expectations and seeing opposing teams best every night and he’ll have an opportunity to improve even more. He’s a riser we feel good about. 

Kinsella caught our attention this summer with his do it all approach and the way he keeps the offense flowing. He moves well without the ball, works to get open and consistently makes the right plays for his team. We also saw flashes of a player capable of putting up points in a variety of ways. Now we want to see how that offensive game has developed. The Sophomore ID Camp is the perfect opportunity for Kinsella to put it all together and show how much he’s grown

Kinsella made his presence felt with effort and awareness, consistently finding ways to impact the game and just always being in the mix. Kinsella is very active without the ball but also truly looks ot make plays when he has it. He kept things moving offensively while stepping in to make key plays. He’s scrappy, competitive, and unselfish, and what really stands out is that he understands positioning and timing. Kinsella’s ability to contribute in subtle but meaningful ways makes him a player whose game translates to team success and I am curious to watch more of him.

Miles Kinsella Miles Kinsella 5'10" | PG Lutheran | 2029 State CO ‘s calling card was defense. He worked hard on every possession, moved without the ball, and constantly disrupted passing lanes. What stood out was his ability to defend without fouling. His ability to lock in on his assignment and force turnovers stood out. Kinsella used his body well, applying pressure and playing with toughness. His defensive intensity made him a difference-maker for his team, and that also led to his baskets offensively, but teams need specialists and defense is not always shown at showcases.
