Thomas brings a physical edge and competitiveness that changes games, and I am here for it. He plays through contact, initiates the contact, finishes at the rim, and competes with controlled aggression. That really translates to big plays on the defensive end, and that kept showing in his games. He’s a switchable defender at this level; he guards multiple spots and raises the team’s toughness. He’s not too flashy, just productive, and he brings it on every single possession. He had a few games where he would score multiple baskets simply by wanting it more. He’s the type of young prospect that every roster needs, as his energy, versatility, and aggressiveness are what tilt momentum when things get tight. Curious to see what he turns into, but this weekend, he was a two-way menace.
