First up on my list of game-changing guards from the Big Shots Myrtle Beach Jam is Melachi Singleton Melachi Singleton 6'1" | PG James Island | 2027 State SC . There are several talented players in the Raptors 2027 group, so it is Singleton’s job to bring the ball up and get it in the right places. He did just that in a big win over Carolina Storm on Saturday, racking up 4 assists to go with 8 points and 3 steals with 8:00 left before I had to jump to another game. Not only was his offensive playmaking on display, but Melachi also made winning plays defensively as he moved his feet to contain the ball, had active hands in help and full-court pressure, and got on the floor for loose balls.

Next up is another two-sport athlete from the Lower State, Melachi Singleton Melachi Singleton 6'1" | PG James Island | 2027 State SC . He plays at Burke High School in Class 2A Region 6 and averaged 9.2 Points Per Game, 2.6 Assists Per Game, and 3.0 Steals Per Game making it to the 1A Lower State Semifinal in his Freshman Season. Singleton is a good playmaker and has had the ball in his hands a lot for the past year with Burke and the Charleston Raptors . He likes to play the game at a fast pace, pushing it after turnovers and defensive rebounds. Melachi reads the defense well and has a good handle too.

Melachi had no problems getting the ball to the basket today and finishing drives for the Bulldogs. He shows good court awareness from out top for Head Coach Kevin Hammack in running the team.

Melachi excels in the up and down floor game and pushing the offense. He has no problems touching the paint and getting into the gaps for the Bulldogs.

Singleton had the ball in his hands a lot for the Raptors on Saturday, performing as the lead guard in a comfortable win. He is very quick with the ball and flashed in the open floor. Melachi is a good playmaker and is capable of creating plays for himself and others by using his speed, handle, vision, and shooting.

Singleton plays down in Chuck Town at Burke HS. Melachi a point guard is the primary ball-handler on this Carolina Raptors whenever he’s on the floor. He can get the ball into the gaps and touch the paint when needed. Melachi was able to finish some buckets at the rim this weekend for the Raptors.
