leading the charge in the first half, it was Marley who stepped up in the second when South’s offense was stalling. The biggest shot was the step-back three to send it into overtime, but he also had another corner three and two finishes at the rim in the low scoring game. He has height, strength, explosive athleticism, and good change of pace off the dribble that makes him a difficult matchup for opposing defenses. Rarely will teams have a guy his size with the quickness needed to keep him in front. Team high 12 points in the win.

Marley was absolutely fearless attacking the basket against Totino-Grace. With his frame and explosiveness, once he gets in the paint there aren’t many defenders capable of stopping him at the high school level. Crashes the glass extremely hard on the offensive end, and is good at utilizing a jab step to get his defender leaning in one direction before attacking the opposite way. Showed off his bounce with an off-the-backboard alley-oop as well as a posterizing dunk over the top of a defender. While he does the bulk of his scoring around the rim, Marley has shown a solid jump shot that keeps defenders honest when the ball is in his hands.

notch himself as the other player of the game in this match-up. The 2024 guard from Lakeville South, really put pressure on the opposing defenders pushing the ball in transition at all times. Baah-Yeboah also a menace on defense blocking shots and jumping passing lanes for steals. His ability to adapt on defense, play multiple positions on the wing and even guarding point guards make him a valuable player that can plug and play within a team.

Marley was dominating all game in the matchup I was able to catch. The 6’3” junior has all the tools to be an elite all-around player with the combination of his size, skill, and shot making ability. He also has great instincts and was constantly taking advantage of what the defense was giving him. Baah-Yeboah was able to knock down a plethora of shots from beyond the arc with the majority of them coming off of the dribble. He also showed off his athleticism with a two-handed throw down on a baseline drive. Marley looks to be one of most improved players in the state and is on pace to have a monster junior season with Lakeville South.
