About Mark

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Mark Leung is a 5’11 shooting guard from Hong Kong and is looking to make a name for himself in the US. He is a major energy giver and would positively impact every team he’s on by bringing the energy up being the best teammate. He is also a very vocal defensive guard that would pick up full court always. Lastly he is a catch and shoot wing whenever he is needed to knock down shots for his team

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I always put my team over everything and do my best job to be loud and vocal to bring the energy up wherever I go. Lots of coaches have told me I’m the best teammate they’ve ever coached so I would never change my attitude ever. There would be days that my shots aren’t falling but I still find ways to contribute to the team on and off the court and be the most positive that I can be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Awarded Mr. International Basketball 2025 at Oak Hill Academy, Carmelo Anthony Academic Excellence Award at the 2026 Melo Classic, Named All - EYBL Scholastic Honor Roll 2026

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Glue guy for every team, social media content creation team, Leadership, food bank community service, coaching and mentoring players back in Hong Kong.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Living and traveling alone with no family in the US, going from state to state every week for games. Now I’m completely used to it and embrace my opportunities because my goal and will to succeed overpowers everything.

What type of college are you looking for?

A college that values what I could contribute to the team and will embrace me with the best program that fits my needs academically and athletically.
