. He will be the biggest stock booster at the event as this is a top 75 area player in his class if not higher. In fairness, Huffman was never supposed to be ranked so low, that was an oversight. But an oversight that gave us a chance to look closer at the incredibly precise way he plays with the basketball. The court reads and decisions made from Huffman leading to high percentage success as a guard is really eye opening. He might be one of the higher percentage guards out there that scores 20+ ppg .

Remember what we said….. Concordia Academy. Huffman is one of the more skilled and smart players I saw all weekend. The timing of what he did recognizing the faults in the defense was A+ level as he continually play made for his team and he didn’t without a rush or a panic, it was precise. This is a 23 point per game scorer from last year that should have a big senior season.

is a six-foot 2027 guard from Concordia that when getting the ball in this 5v5 match-up started making shots, and difficult shots. Huffman eventually knocked down six 3-pointers including a game winner. After averaging 23 a game as a junior Huffman looks ready to fill up the scoring sheet. Huffman hit a spot-up corner 3, catch and shoot on the move above the break 3-pointer, pull-up wing 3-pointer and a couple off the dribble tough contested 3-pointers.

Huffman had a great junior season scoring the ball, far too good for the ranking that was given which I obviously had as some type of oversight when moving names around in the system. He scored 23 points a game last year and had a really good day scoring the ball at this event. He is a tough, tough player attacking the rim with a scoring touch on the move and at the arc. Also a defender that will battle the full length of the court. The type of player that I think a D3 would really like to have in their program.

Langston, a PG from Concordia Academy, has a ton of skill. His first scrimmage vs Heat Dunlap 17u he did not shy away from the older competition. He has a super quick handle and good breakdown moves. He made it tough on Dunlap’s defenders. Langston hit a bunch of good shots and had some nice finishes over bigger defenders. This is a kid that could really shine this summer playing for Heat Uko.

– The six-foot Concordia Academy guard shot the ball pretty well from the perimeter making 3 3-pointers. He gets up and down the floor well, needs to develop more as a lead guard at his size. Huffman was very active without the board on the glass, offensive and defensive showing good ability to rebound his position.
