Kyle was completely unstoppable vs MSJ during DMV Live. Things began with his stout defense both on the perimeter and inside the paint. Stopped a lot of drives and layups with solid fundamental chest-to-ball defense. Then, the offense came raining in. Logan was efficient with a couple of smooth pullup midrange jumpers. Kyle started to open up his scoring palette with some nice dribble drives that led to and-1’s and made some big 3’s off the dribble. All-around scoring effort from Logan who scored at will for Riverdale. Also defended BJ at crucial parts of the game, sometimes asking for the tough matchup at late-game situations. Very strong showing from

DMV Live
-Really excited to see what Logan looks like in new threads for a new coach at Riverdale Baptist. His reclassification to the 2027 class should boost his stock as a scoring guard that doesn’t need a ball screen to get a clean look. Logan can get downhill going either direction, stops on a dime, and squares up with perfect form to sink jumpshots from all over the floor. Love how he uses his size to create space and score over or around defenders around the basket. If he can continue to improve his body, add more back foot burst, and prove that he can really shoot it from 3– I expect his recruitment to take off.

Logan was a newer name that I was able to watch at the event, and I certainly walked away impress with a guard prospect to watch more in the coming season in the always competitive Washington Catholic League. A wiry/long smooth combo guard, he is excellent at getting downhill and finishing strong on several occasions, embracing contact well. Logan has a quick first step to get defenders on his hip but also shows strong handles and the ability to finish well around opponents using his length and craftiness. He was truly an impressive two-way guard that we had a chance to be a college prospect.

Logan is a slithery slasher who is great on the attack. He can score getting to different spots in the mid-range. Logan length allows him interrupt passing lanes. His size is imposing on the perimeter. Logan could take a jump as a shooter from behind the arc. His best basketball is still ahead of him.

-Dynamic scorer in the open floor that uses his size to score over opponents at will. Love the fluidity and consistency on his short jumpers and floaters in the paint as his offensive arsenal is pretty deep. Had some good moments scoring in bunches to bring his team back throughout the game, allowing his drives to the paint to open up the space to get off perimeter jumpers in the second half. Finished with 25p 6r 2a 2s off of 58% shooting in 20 minutes of game play.

Big-time performance from Kyle in a game that OLGC came close to winning. Logan put up points all game long in hopes to keep his team within reach of a red-hot opponent. He sliced his way into the lane for a multitude of different finishes. He shot the ball efficiently from distance and made the defense pay for leaving him open. Kyle looked good getting out in the open space and making plays in transition. Solid showing from the junior guard who is poised for a big senior season.

-A guard that popped onto our radar in the preseason, he’s served as an effective connector on the wings that can also score by getting to the basket and hitting shots off the dribble. He’s got solid length, good speed, and understands when he needs to push the envelope in transition and when the ball needs to come back up top to set off the offense in the secondary break. His nose for the basketball has allowed him to carve out a pretty consistent role in Good Counsel’s rotation.
