Sidbury is a well-known piece with obvious physical appeal and considerable upside on both ends of the floor. Sidbury showed to be a terrific defensive cog with strength, physicality, and athleticism to wreak havoc for opponents. His motor and physical tools allow him to rebound at a quality rate and toggle across multiple positions defensively. Sidbury will be an interesting Chess piece to the Fairfax Christian program this year.

One of my big takeaways from Fairfax Christian is how much effort everyone gives. Alex Sidbury is another good example of that. I love the energy he plays with on both ends. Alex has good touch around the rim and finishes through contact. He is a good rebounder and can get buckets out of the post. He had 15 points and 5 rebounds.
