Even keeled outwardly, but fiercely competitive internally. Driven to be the best I can be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

High Academic achiever - attended school for gifted and talented, top 5% Regional Math Contest Award Winner.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

A "Where Everyone Belongs (WEB)" Leadership member - a program for 8th grade leaders to help provide a welcoming atmosphere to new middle school students, chosen by school administration and staff.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Playing on varsity as an 8th grader was a challenge. Especially because the middle school day ended later than when JV/varsity practice would start. So I was late to practice every day, making it hard to earn the respect of coaches and teammates. I had to put in extra work after practice every day to keep improving and show others my work ethic and dedication to making the team better.
