. Sims had a monster 11-point third quarter that the Predators won 25-7, and they might not have won the game without it. That was the best stretch I have seen from him in person, as it looked like he flipped a switch to take and make smart shots off the dribble. Nine of his 11 points came from behind the arc, where he looked comfortable even as defenses began to fly towards him. That is a key piece to Kobe’s long-term development, so if he builds on it and remains consistent as a shooter, he could start to see the offers roll in.

Sims was a bright spot for Fox Creek in their loss to Indian Land. After some struggles to open the game, Kobe got in rhythm in the third quarter and was much more efficient for the rest of the game. He is a tough shot-maker who can play within the offense or create his own buckets when plays break down. Kobe is also a solid athlete who gets vertical on his jump shot and shoots over most matchups. In his 19-Point outing on Friday, Sims had buckets at all three levels but was at his best getting into the paint off the dribble.

. Kobe is a scoring-minded guard who opened eyes in his Freshman Season putting up 7.4 Points Per Game and 3.0 Rebounds Per Game. He can still run a successful offense with the ball in his hands because he has a tight handle and good vision for his age. Sims is confident at all times and can elevate over defenders just about anywhere on the floor. Kobe is an efficient shooter off the catch and off the dribble, and in the mid-range and on the perimeter. He recently took an unofficial visit to Furman University.

Sims looks to be the future for the Predators program and Head Coach Andrew Peckham program. Kobe can direct traffic from out top or simply race by defenders at times on the way to the rack. Kobe plays aggressive on both ends of the floor. He certainly plays mature for his age and really looks to step-up to the challenge every time out on the floor.
