Patton is a wing prospect out of JL Chambers High still on the board in the 2024 class at the 44th position. He holds an offer from Voorhees College heading into his final summer. He’s another prospect who could utilize another year on the prep/post-grad scene given his recent development at JL Chambers. He put up 12.1 PPG, 7.6 RPG, 2.4 APG and 1.3 SPG while shooting 51 percent from the floor to close out his high school career. Check out his season highlights in his profile!

Patton is an explosive wing who knows how to put on a show with his high flying dunks and impressive athleticism. He’s got a quick first step and great burst in the open floor, and really likes space to maneuver into. He has a decent jumpshot, and can shoot the mid-range pull up off the dribble well. He has one offer from NAIA Voorhees already, and will look to explore all his options before committing.

Patton is another unsigned prospect in the Chambers High rotation to keep eyes on at the wing-forward position. He’s averaging 13.7 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 2.3 APG and 1.3 SPG on 54 percent shooting from the field. He put up 13 points, 10 rebounds, six steals and three assists in a tough loss to Cannon School in their final non-conference game on the schedule. He’s a strong-framed slashing presence who’s shown he can operate in traffic and make things happen as a finisher and rebounder with the Cougars as they’re 4-1 in the Queen City Conference currently. He’s a prospect for DII and DIII programs in the region to get eyes on.

Patton shot up the radar after a productive grassroots campaign with Upward Stars. He’s a confident prospect who continues to improve his all-around game at 6-foot-5. He’s a versatile wing-forward set to play a big role for the Cougars in 2023-24 given his ability to defend multiple roles and the attention the new talent around him will draw on offense. He finished his junior season with 12.6 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 1.8 APG, 1.3 SPG and 1.0 BPG. Look for him to play a role in their success once again as they look to compete with crosstown rival North Mecklenburg in the Queen City Conference. Voorhees College has offered him.

Last Season Stats – 12.6 PPG, 7.2 RPG, 60% FG
Patton has bounce and scoring touch for days as a downhill slasher who should see more college looks come his way this year. Always been a driver in the halfcourt and in transition can tear the rim off with his athleticism and speed. Able to make an impact on the defensive end due to those same traits. Still improving his jumper and perimeter game at this point in time. Should be a big senior year for him with Chambers.

is due for a breakout senior season with JL Chambers High this upcoming season. He’s quite the two-way presence that can defend the 1-3 spots while rebounding in bunches and making things happen off the bounce offensively. Voorhees College has already offered the versatile wing prospect.

on your radar if you go and watch Chambers in the high school season. He is a major athlete that can take off from just about anywhere on the court. His speed and leaping ability are on par with guys in college already and he was flying all over the court with Upward Stars Carolinas. He’s a tremendous finisher and scorer in transition/at the rim, but still there are questions about his shot. He looked like he had been working on his jumper when I saw it, but there’s definitely still room for improvement if he wants to get to a high level. Regardless, his leaping and finishing ability is impressive and vaults him ahead of a lot of guys I saw today.
