La Salle has a good one coming in Magna. A confident shooter from beyond the arc, he has worked hard to expand his game off the dribble over the past year and will likely spend time at both guard spots for the Royals this season. The New York City Catholic League is more open than it has been in several years, and it is clear that the senior guard is motivated to capture a championship before heading to college.

The LaSalle commit has out together a terrific career at Christ the King and is poised for his biggest season yet. He’s healthy, stronger, has great chemistry with the coaching staff and will look to win CHSAA MVP. This is just one of his goals for Senior year but he ultimately wants to lift a banner for the Royals. Keep buying in stock in Magna, we have plenty.

Johnny has already committed to LaSalle. He is a point guard with really good size. Outstanding distributor of the ball. He has displayed an excellent mid range game. Runs the offense and handles the ball really well but can still be the scoring pg. Great rebounder from the guard position.

The Royals got a breakout Junior season from Magna and he now enters his final year for CTK. His expectations are sky high for the LaSalle commit but he’s ready. Magna is a tremendous playmaker, a serious scorer, a premier defender and a stat stuffer. He has a great chance to win MVP of the CHSAA especially if he can help lead his team all the way this year.

Johnny has already committed to LaSalle for 2028. A 5th team all New York selection averaged 16.4 ppg. A combo guard who handles both spots efficiently. At the point he has good size and as a 2 guard he can score multiple ways. High basketball IQ. He has shown poise and confidence handling the ball or running the offense. Elusive handle enables him to get off his own shots. Very good with the ball in tight quarters understands how to draw defenders and create opportunities.

Should find himself on a top numbered all state team. Already committed to LaSalle university. Great size for the cg spot. High basketball IQ. Great poise and confidence. He possesses an elusive handle enabling him to get off his own shot. Outstanding mid range game and can drain threes.

Johnny has already committed to the Explores from LaSalle university. He was an integral part of getting CTK the BQ title. He averaged 17 ppg. He has a high basketball IQ. Can play either guard spot and has really good size for the position. He has an elusive handle. He is able to get to his spots. Has deep range and a really nice mid range game. Excellent rebounder from the guard spot.

CTK would leave on the wrong end of an upset with a narrow loss to Scanlan, but by no fault of their all-league junior guard. Magna simply refused to go down without a fight, dragging the Royals back into the game from nearly 20 points down. He was absolutely relentless attacking the paint off the dribble, converting a perfect 15-for-15 at the foul line in just the second half alone. His competitiveness, playmaking ability, and nose for the ball parlayed into a dynamic 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 6 assists to close out his junior season. He’ll likely need to reign things in a bit at the next level from a decisionmaking standpoint but brings the type of aggression and competitive fire that La Salle values heavily under its current staff.

Lasalle did it like schools did it years ago you like a player you sign him and then got a really good one in Johnny. Very smooth. Excellent handle. Great court vision and awareness. Poised and in control. Made some tough contested baskets. Scores from all three levels. Really like his mid range pull up game.

A combo guard who has a high basketball IQ. He has good size with an excellent handle. Can get off his own shot off the bounce. Can nail the three or get into his spots with a deadly mid range jumper. A scorer from the guard position who understands the importance of being able to run the offense.
