Expert Analysis
Brian Reichert | Prep Hoops Scout
Samake is a new developing prospect who’s showing some great potential on both ends. He’s a dunk machine, he can take over for stretches, he protects the paint and plays hard. This front court will rely on him on a bunch throughout the year but he only has to play a part with such a strong supporting cast. If the Royals can get him comfortable, consistent touches and minutes expect a big year for Samake.

Samake arrived into the states in April- and if anything he’s shown in recent months with the NY Lightning are any indication, the Royals have a division one big entering the fold. With the ability to attack out of the high post and a motor that never quits, Samake will alter games with his effort on both ends alone. College programs would be wise to get eyes on him.

Samake should be on a shortlist of breakout candidates in CHSAA play this fall. An active and versatile forward who can anchor the paint or face up and attack off the dribble, Samake is a mismatch offensively and a great fit next to what might be the league’s best perimeter trio at Christ the King.
