Tutt is a powerful finisher at the rim and routine absorbed contact while scoring the ball. His speed in the open floor as well as his ball handling make it very hard for defenders to stay in front of him. With a low center of gravity, Tutt is very sudden, and a good decision maker with the ball in his hands as well. When it looked like Scanlan threatened to run away from them, it was Tutt who kept his team close with his scoring and playmaking.

Another one of the PSAL’s top returning players, Tutt was a bright spot for Forest Hills in its opening-night loss to Monsignor Scanlan. The tough and quick guard used his strength to consistently reach the paint, where he either scored himself or found open teammates on the perimeter. College programs would be wise to get eyes on him this winter.

While every program in the area has tried to pull King Tutt away from Forest Hills it looks as id they’ve failed again. He’s gearing up for another big season in the PSAL and this year he wants Player of the Year. Tutt is a physical scorer who’s deadly in the mid range, he tough to stop when he gets down hill plus he’s got a ton of moves to finish around the basket. His shooting percentage continues to go up, he’s making more plays, improved defensively and has full control of this offense.

The engine behind Forest Hills’ rise in the PSAL and dominance of Queens over the last two years, It wasn’t surprising to see Tutt be the second leading scorer on Lightning’s 16s at just over 17 points a game. A good rebounder and defender, Tutt’s ability to effect the game on both ends has been on display all Spring and Summer.
