Sutton, a junior forward out of Stamford High School, has the chance to break out this winter and announce his presence as the state’s top big man. An imposing 6’10” forward, he continues to expand his offensive game, showing some developing touch out to the three point line, a good feel for the game with his back to the basket as a scorer, and the athleticism to finish plays above the rim in space. Defensively, his combination of size and length allows him to be a terrific rim protector and one of the better glass cleaners around.

Sutton, a center out of Stamford High School, checks in at #47 overall and #11 among the centers. Sutton, now pushing 6’11”, has great positional size and a motor that seems to be improving with each passing month. He has the physical tools needed to be a high level defender, with the length to protect the rim and the strength to control the glass. He’s a solid rim runner that has a huge catch radius. He does a nice job of setting solid screens, rolls hard to the rim, and has the ability to finish with power or touch around the rim. He’s even showing signs of developing his face up game.

Sutton, a big out of Stamford High School, checks into the rankings at #70, climbing 20 spots since our last update. Now pushing 6’10” with a leaned out frame, Sutton stands out with his ability to rebound the basketball on both ends of the floor. He runs hard in transition, has a big catch radius, and does a nice job of operating as a screener/roller in ball screen actions. He continues to display a nose for the ball on the offensive glass and is becoming a more dynamic and athletic finisher around the rim. Defensively, he walls up in the post, uses his length to his advantage as a shot blocker, and wins the rebounding battle more times than not.
