Jenkins looked very comfortable being back with his former high school program. The versatile forward averaged nearly 20 points per game over the weekend. He is a strong, physical, competitive forward. He is capable of scoring on the block, in the midrange and can make an open 3. He is also a capable rebounder at both ends of the floor.

It was borderline unfair as Jenkins bullied his way past just about everyone, suiting up for Riviera Prep out of Miami. The sheer bulk of his frame, taken together with some really nifty feet and soft hands, made the matchups too easy for the burly big man. He was one of the few guys on the day that had my mouth agahst as I legitimately feared for those in his path to the basket. Interest from Kentucky makes all the sense in the world for the OTE product.

Jenkins Jr is one of the most talented athletes in the 2027 class with excellent defensive versatility and movement skills. I love the physical tools Jenkins Jr plays with and he’s flashed some playmaking ability as well. For Jenkins Jr, he has easy avenues to improve as a player with his touch around the rim being a main area that can improve. Jenkins Jr is a good free throw shooter for his size, so I believe he can develop his touch on layups and shots around the basket. Not a readymade prospect but Jenkins Jr has the potential to be an impact high major prospect.

The South Florida native who played for Overtime Elite this season is a strong, physically imposing forward with high level characteristics. Jenkins plays with a competitive edge and continues to expand his skill set, showing the ability to score on the block, from the midrange, and even step out to knock down an open three. He rebounds effectively at both ends and is a consistent presence in the frontcourt.

I was really impressed with the movement skills Jenkins Jr showed at the camp. Despite being 6’9 and holding a strong frame, Jenkins Jr hit quick euro-step and change of direction moves with the ball in his hands. Being able to catch at the high post and attack either way with counter made Jenkins Jr a tough cover all day long. Maybe my favorite play of the day was when Jenkins Jr hit a fake DHO and then blew by his teammates defender before the switch to score at the rim. A stock riser from this weekend, I left extremely intrigued by his game.

The new No. 1 in Florida’s 2027 class, Jenkins stands at 6-9, 221 pounds, with a championship pedigree that defines his game. He’s been molded in a winning culture and is expected to keep that standard going forward. Jenkins is a dominant interior presence who plays with strength and control, altering shots and finishing with force. As he continues to add muscle and refine his physicality, he’ll be even tougher to handle.

Jenkins finished with 13 points on the game and commanded attention throughout. He is another player that is a sophomore and only knows the championship ways the Bulldogs have instilled and that he is expected to continue pushing forward. If he can continue to develop his frame and add more physicality, with the returning guard play and Jenkins, the Bulldogs will be a tough out moving forward.
