Expert Analysis
Brandon Ramsey | Prep Hoops Scout
Kowalski was a consistent standout for Pro Lane 17u at the Grit Region Finals. Ranked as a Top 150 prospect by Prep Hoops Wisconsin, the 6’2″ guard showed off his perimeter shooting ability as well as displaying the skill level to attack closeouts in a straight line. The threat of his catch-and-shoot ability puts the defense in tough closeout situations and he was able to make use those moments all weekend long.

Read EvaluationMark Miller | Prep Hoops Scout
A gritty player who competes with plenty of spark and physicality, Kowalski had a game-high 18 points and drilled four three-point baskets for Pro Lane in its triumph over Foundation Athletics South. He is coming off a junior season where he led a very young Pius XI Catholic squad in scoring at 12.1 ppg while also contributing 4.7 rpg. Kowalski defended well on the perimeter on Saturday, and also was able to snare some rebounds and come up with some loose basketballs. His toughness was a major reason Pro Lane notched the victory.

Read EvaluationTeddy Bahu | Prep Hoops Scout
Wisconsin kid with a terrific jump-shot. Drained a pair of deep 3’s in his first 5v5 matchup. Hit a contested 3-pointer later in the opening contest. Knocked down at least 5-6 3-pointers in the two scrimmages. Also found several hot zones in the midrange.
