About Jaylan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I make my teammates better Traditional PG with the ability to get in the paint and create opportunities to pass or score. I shoot the ball well from 3 and the FT line. On ball defender that can pressure the basketball and wreak havoc on the defensive end.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I only care about winning and being the best version of myself everyday, on the court, in the classroom, and in the community.

Jaylan really began to impress me in the 3 on 3 and continued into the 5 on 5. Despite being only 5’5, he had multiple finishes at the rim amongst significantly larger defenders. He scored tough timely buckets for his 5 on 5 team. Even though he could get a bucket when he needed, he seemed to always make the right play when he had the ball. Jaylan can be a deadly combo guard for Ashland down the line as he continues to grow.
