About Jack

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Having grown up as a PG I have the ball handling skills to run the game, and with my size and experience in the post I have developed some of the best post footwork in the state. I am able to play any position on the court on both ends with SF as my natural position. I play fast, athletic, above the rim basketball and I am able to finish off the dribble or pull up. Elite creator and rebounder.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Driven to create the best version of myself. I compete with passion and make it my goal to outwork everyone on the court. I am often called the emotional leader of the teams I play for, and my enthusiasm and toughness show in my game.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am pushing myself to attain the highest level of basketball that my body and skillset will allow me. I am open to any and all paths and journeys to get me to the peak of my potential.

Looking completely down and out for the majority of the first three quarters, McGuire commanded the ball and scored at-will in the paint in the fourth quarter, putting up 24 points on a wildly efficient 10-of-14 shooting from the field, adding eight rebounds and two blocks for Pella. With soft touch on finishes — either with a floater or hook shot over defenders — McGuire scored with ease against a Carroll defense that boasts one of the top shot-blockers in all classes.
