Roorda wasn’t on the varsity roster for the Dutch last season but could make an impact as early as this year. He finishes through contact around the rim, can attack bigger defenders off the dribble and get to the bucket, and he has good footwork and touch. He’s a high-level rebounder on both ends of the floor with a nose for the ball, and he gets the job done in and out of his area.

Quinn Roorda Quinn Roorda 6'4" | PF Pella | 2028 State IA plays with toughness and physicality. He goes up strong around the rim, and bumps don’t bother his touch. He finishes at a high clip around the rim and draws fouls because of it. His driving was also very impressive. His flexibility was elite, and he got very low on his drives for someone of his stature. He showcased a soft floater that added to his elite interior scoring. Quinn finished at high speeds and capitalized on many off-ball cuts. Keeping him away from the rim was virtually impossible. Quinn was one of the best rebounders I saw play at this event. He used his size and strength to come down with many boards. This allowed him to get even more shots up on the rim. Roorda is a skilled big man who can do a little bit of everything on the offensive end of the floor. He scores on the block against smaller defenders, takes bigger defenders off the dribble, and can step out and knock down shots off the catch. He has really good footwork and touch on his post touches, and he does a great job running the floor in transition, beating the defense down the floor for easy buckets. He’s also a great rebounder on both ends of the floor.
