Davis is one of the best all-around players I have watched throughout this entire summer, and this was my first time getting to watch Austin Austin 6'2" | CG Covenant Classical | 2027 TX Prep Academy in person. He immediately captured my attention due to his high-volume scoring from all three levels, playmaking dimes to open teammates, and insane court awareness. Consistently knocking down long range bombs throughout the contest, Davis makes quite the difference for Austin Austin 6'2" | CG Covenant Classical | 2027 TX Prep and showcases himself as a true floor general in all aspects.

Garfield has some talented slashers, and obviously a big threat around the paint with Gelonni Ervin, but Davis proved just as valuable to their big win over Kennedy with his ability to consistently stretch the floor. He floated with drives, ran to his spots in transition, and had an efficient game knocking in several shots from deep. He can make plays to the basket and defends pretty well too, but his biggest contribution this season should be as a marksman from behind the arc.

Davis is a high-powered shooter from long-range but he’s also shown an ability this spring and summer to play point and set things in motion. He’s got a tight handle, mixes up speeds to keep defenders off-balance and keep separation, and has done a great job using that handle to get in the middle and make things happen. He’ll be a name to watch this winter who could make a significant impact at Garfield.
