About Isaiah
Expert Analysis
Devin Record | Prep Hoops Scout
Isaiah is attending Garfield this upcoming season and will thrive under excellent coaching in Brandon Roy. He plays on the wing at his best, being able to space the floor perfectly and knock down jumpers with ease. He is very athletic and can defend multiple positions on the defensive side of the ball.

Isaiah is an explosive, athletic wing who can play anywhere on the court. He gets down-hill nicely by utilizing his length and strength to his advantage. Cunningham will be surrounded by a ton of talent on O’Dea but I believe will be able to carve out a big time role and make impactful plays for O’Dea all season long, being a player they can rely on.

Isaiah will be attending O’dea after transferring from Lincoln where he was a big factor in winning the 3A PCL this season. He has had a productive off-season playing in the Pangos best of So Cal Showcase, and made the top 80 at the Cross Roads Invitational in Indianapolis. He has improved his scoring, and shows a better shooting touch to go with his already explosive downhill game. His pull-up jumper is lightning quick and he can pull it from anywhere. He always shows up on the defensive end as an elite defender with excellent lateral quickness. His size and length at the guard position, along with the athleticism make him one of the more high ceiling guards in the area.

Stands out in most any game you watch him play with his elite level athletic ability and length at the guard position. High energy player who excels on the defensive end. He can be and is willing to be a lock down defender. He has improved his outside shooting, and can shoot it off the bounce or the catch. Elite ability to shake the defense for the pull-up jumper. His ability to get downhill is always a threat, with the quickness and relentless nature he attacks the basket. He attacks with a purpose and can finish at the rim with a variety of shots or dunks. His desire and hustle on the defensive end don’t take plays off. This is what makes him invaluable as an impact player even if he isn’t scoring. He rebounds well and is outstanding in the open floor. He has speed, quickness, and dawg that doesn’t go away. His pull-up jumper extends beyond the three point line and is. His attitude from afar seems that of a coachable player, something you see from how he picks himself and his teammates up off the floor.

Here is another 6’4 guard with size and length that takes pride in defense. The way he moves his feet is something to watch. He has helped Lincoln to a league championship this season. He is capable of doing big things. Only a sophomore. His upside is huge. He is getting around 12 points a game but the upside comes from the intangibles.

I have been on this train since I first saw him play. It is his athletic ability, size, and relentless style that makes him a high ceiling player. His defense makes him somewhat of a can’t miss prospect. He can defend. He likes to defend. He is best at getting to the basket and scoring in the mid game. He makes threes but he is not a knock down shooter yet. That would absolutely make him a can’t miss prospect. He works hard to make himself better. High ceiling player.

I am excited to see this kid play this season. He is a killer on the court and as good a competitor as I’ve seen. He is relentless and it shows. I admire players who compete. He does. He is explosive and when he wants to get to the bucket, he is tough to stop. He has improved his decision making, and turned himself into a player who can run the point and control the pace of the game if he needs to. He will play all guard spots and is a scorer first. He moves laterally on defense at an elite level and takes pride in playing defense. He will rebound and find his teammates with some great dimes after blowing by the defense. He sets up his mid-range game well. He can knock down shots. He does a little of everything. He has the talent to be a difference maker this season.
