Rooney dominated on JV and showed that he was ready for more varsity minutes and is the sole underclassman on one of the top teams in the state. He’s a confident shooter who spaces the floor, moves without the ball, and you have to know where he’s at the moment that he gets on the floor. He’s a sniper for deep and has been accurate from deep in the moments that he has been on the floor. He runs the lanes well, gets out and pushes the ball in transition, and can play both on and off the ball. Rooney is a prospect that we want to get more eyes on but we liked what we saw from him to start the season.
