Gardner does a nice job playing either the two or three and possesses a nice blend of size and skill. He finds different ways to leave his mark on the game and does a good job reading and reacting to situations on the fly. Gardner plays with great gamesmanship and found different ways to put the ball in the hoop. I liked his ability to see the floor and find open shooters, while he also showed a willingness to make hustle plays and impact the game in multiple areas.

Gardner put together an impressive sophomore campaign for the Falcons, averaging over 16 points per game while shooting better than 40% from beyond the arc. A wing with good size, he combines scoring production with efficiency and strong decision-making. Gardner plays with a high basketball IQ and impacts the game in multiple ways, which earned him both All-District and All-Region honors.
