-Argueta’s quick twitch athleticism and aggressive play really stood out at both ends of the floor as he was a menace defensively for the Cadets. Love what he gives his team coming off the bench as an aggressive smaller guard that turns his matchup over, puts pressure on the rim, and really pushes the pace in transition. Argueta’s speed and burst has always been mere minutes into watching him play but the vertical pop really was accentuated by a chasedown block where he high-pointed a block with a 1-handed spike to preserve a narrow lead for his team late in this one.

Kaiden has been highly anticipated as the next PG in line for St. John’s. His game as evolved a bit from the previous season as he plays extremely hard on both sides of the ball. Argueta can light the floor up with his shooting which was quickly captured in his minutes with the Cadets in 2024-25. He can mix his defender up with his elusiveness and handle on the ball. Kaiden’s catch-and-shoot ability is incredible, he can find a spot anywhere beyond the arc. Entertaining point guard to watch in the WCAC over the next few years.
