About Elijah

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe my gameplay as disciplined and strategic. I have strong court vision and consistently look for the right moment to attack or set up a teammate. While my demeanor may seem calm, I play with intensity and aggression. I'm a true defense asset; disruptive, focus and relentless.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would say I'm personable, quiet, and observant most of the time. I prefer to take things in and reflect before reacting or responding. While I have a laid-back demeanor, I do step up, show up and stand out in the right settings and times.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I'm about to begin my high school journey and plan to see what they have to offer. I enjoy taking pictures, it's a passion of mine. To be able to capture a different perspective or moment that someone may have missed and share it, the feeling can't be explained.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Two skills I've developed and continue to work on are active listening and facilitation. Both are essential in my role on the court as a shooting and point guard. These skills help me communicate effectively with teammates, read the game, and lead with intention.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

One of the challenges I face is living with Autism. I've never seen it as a setback, but rather as something that makes me unique. It has presented difficulties, such as navigating stigma, adapting to different learning and coaching styles. It has also helped me grow in resilience, self awareness, and empathy.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for a college home that will continue to push me forward. Whether that be through personal relationships, development of my skills on the court, or academic growth. I want to continue to evolve, grow and emerge as a stronger, more well-rounded version of myself.

His quick release jumper and reliable deep shooting keep defenses honest, while his grit and tenacity on the boards show he’s never afraid to mix it up inside. Defensively he competes hard and sets the tone, making life difficult for anyone trying to score around him. What makes Williams exciting is his potential to become even more dynamic. As he continues to develop his ability to attack defenders off the dribble and accelerate through the lane, he’ll become a multifaceted offensive threat. Pair that with a sharpened defensive intensity, and Williams has all the tools to turn into a true lockdown player. The kind of two way force that can change the outcome of a game
