Dominant in the paint all game, Bradshaw was a man amongst boys in the paint on Sunday evening. With excellent hands for catching passes and rebounds, Bradshaw collects loose balls that many other forwards don’t secure. I was also impressed with Bradshaw’s touch on shots from the 5 foot range, getting friendly bounces off the rim on his looks. The Colonels will need that Bradshaw to show up the rest of this postseason run.

A multi-sport stud for the Colonels, Bradshaw’s football talents shine on the hardwood for Covington Catholic. Bradshaw has a strong frame and soft hands that allow him to catch contested passes and secure contested rebounds. Add in soft touch on floaters and layups and Bradshaw is efficient as a scorer in the paint. Also one of the better big passers I’ve seen early this season, Bradshaw finds his shooters when the defense collapses on him in the paint.

has shown steady improvement year after year, and he’s poised to take on an even bigger role for a loaded Covington Catholic squad this season. The big man has the ideal size to protect the rim and does a great job of disrupting plays without fouling, often turning deflections into steals. Offensively, Bradshaw has a soft touch around the basket and a reliable midrange jumper. He finishes well inside and benefits from playing alongside standout guards

Bradshaw has already received some attention on the football field but he’s also a good prospect on the hardwood. Donovan has good size and length to be an undersized 4 right now. If he continues to improve his overall skill level and shows he can stretch out to the perimeter, he has great size and athleticism to be a big wing at the D2/NAIA level.

While I mentioned how McGillis was setting up teammates left and right and using the pick and roll to find easy shots for himself and teammates, Bradshaw was his partner in a lot of these sets as a physical forward who sets hard screens and rolls to the rim with a purpose to catch and finish in the paint. A standout on the gridiron as well, Bradshaw’s size, frame, length and hands all translate to the hardwood. While the skill, passing and shooting ability grab the attention for Ohio Champion, they also have guys like Bradshaw who can play above the rim on both ends for electrifying finishes at the rim and monster blocked shots as well. It’s obvious the chemistry between Bradshaw and McGillis as the pair are playing together during both the high school and grassroots season.

Covington Catholic lost Caden Miller to graduation and Donovan is best suited to replace his production and presence out of anyone on their returning roster. Bradshaw is a very athletic player who is confident around the rim or when he’s out on the perimeter. With most of the scoring expected to come from

File Donovan’s name away under “high potential”. He’s got the physical tools but has had limited opportunities as a Sophomore for Covington Catholic. Bradshaw is long and athletic with quick jumps and the ability to protect the rim. This upcoming AAU season will be a big one as Donovan should have to start turning potential into production or he’ll slide down the rankings list.

Bradshaw makes the move up from 64th to 47th after a good AAU season with Midwest. Donovan is long and a decent athlete. He needs to start using his athleticism more on the court, especially as a rebounder. It remains to be seen what role he’ll play for Cov Cath this season but long term, Bradshaw’s potential is very high.

Covington Catholic is in full blown reload mode heading into next season. They’ve already added a 6’8 post player from Arkansas and Cash Harney Cash Harney 5'11" | PG Covington Catholic | 2026 State KY from Beechwood but Donovan could be a revelation for the Colonels next season after coming off the bench in 15 games this season. With his size and athleticism, Bradshaw has the tools to be an impact player in the near future and should be much higher than 64 in the future.
