-Came away admiring Thompson’s ability to play on or off the ball as a guard prospect with great feel. Thompson attacks closeouts well, is very efficient in his shot selection, makes sure to find his bigs and his shooters in transition, and plays with great pace off the bounce. Love the way that he reads the defense before attacking closeouts to know where to draw the help defenders to create an open look for his teammate. Being that efficient even in shortened minutes after his team grew big leads impressed the courtside college coaches and scouts in attendance.
