His ability to hit shots from beyond the arc (6-of-12 from three) made him nearly unguardable when he got hot. Whether catching and shooting or pulling up off the dribble, Scherer displayed elite shot-making ability. He also attacked the glass well and used his quickness to beat defenders off the dribble.
