After winning Class 4 Player of the Year, Dinges is taking a postgrad year at Fork Union where he’s already getting a lot of division one attention, and he showed why this past weekend with some big time games showing off his versatility. At 6’5” he has a strong frame and is a big time athlete who can play above the rim and guard multiple positions, he’s a three level scorer off the catch and off the bounce, he can create for himself and others off the bounce, and he is able to use his strength to create space and make tough shots from all over.

Dinges impacts the game well with his physicality and is at his best in transition as a guard that makes the right read in advantage situations. He showed a ton of speed traveling in both directions in the open floor, plays above the rim, and has a nice blend of positional size and tenacity to serve as a switchable defender for FUMA. If he can improve his handle to take advantage of explosive strides when attacking closeouts , he should be able to showcase his athleticism and add to his value as a slasher.

After helping lead Handley (VA) to a state championship, Dinges is preparing for a post-graduate year. He possesses a unique blend of size, strength, athleticism, and offensive skill that allows him to impact the game in a variety of ways. A versatile three level scorer, Dinges can stretch the floor from beyond the arc, score in the midrange, and finish through contact at the rim. His skill set extends beyond scoring, as he is comfortable serving as a secondary ball handler and playmaker, giving his team added versatility on the offensive end. He also contributes on the glass, using his physical tools and motor to rebound his position effectively. Dinges averaged 6.8 points and 3.4 rebounds per game for Team Loaded this spring.
