Chance’s individual stats dropped this season but only because St. X is so loaded, talent wise. Dillingham is a really good shooter from three and that is a skill that will definitely translate to the college level. Excited to see how Chance plays in college.

Dillingham was cooking on Wednesday evening as he used a variety of dribble moves to get to the bucket off the dribble. He had a sequence in the second quarter where he froze the defense with back-to-back in and out moves that allowed him to get right to the basket. Dillingham has a lot of shiftiness on the ball and also the ability to knock down shots from the outside. With three 3-pointers as well, Dillingham was scoring the basketball in a variety of ways on Wednesday.

Dillingham is the returning Regional player of the year but I think he has potential to have even more impact as a Senior, even if his actual scoring numbers could slip a little. While the St. X roster is loaded with talent, Dillingham’s ability to attack off ball screens and facilitate for teammates could be the separator for his team in the 7th region. On another note, Louisville is full of good guards and Chance is going to have the opportunity to guard big time point guards every night. With his two-way skills, look for Dillingham to make a huge impact on both ends of the court.

It’s easy to disregard Chance as a prospect because of his size but he shoots the ball at a high level and is not afraid of taking (and making) the big shot for St. X. Dillingham is about automatic from the corner 3 and is good at getting paint touches.

The 64-team bracket championship went to overtime and it was a Dillingham shot with just a few seconds left that pushed St Xavier to victory. Dillingham also made some key plays late in the semifinal win over Louisville Male. Throughout the championship game Dillingham was impressive with his ability to use his quickness to get into the lane and either look to score or distribute to a teammate. Undersized, Dillingham hasn’t let his lack of size stop him from getting buckets on some of the top teams in Kentucky and on the Made Hoops Circuit. One of the more talented offensive guards in Kentucky’s 2025 class.

One of the biggest movers in this update, Chance led St. X in scoring and facilitated open looks for teammates early and often over the course of the season. Dillingham holds a D2 offer and could see more recruitment come his way with a big spring and summer of AAU.

One of the stars of the season in Louisville, Dillingham moves up from 39th to 25th in this update. Chance is a scoring point guard and he shot the ball really well this season with 48/44/81 shooting splits for a Saint X team that probably overachieved this year.

There may not be a hotter player in the state right now than Dillingham. After finishing as LIT MVP, the only thing that has proven it can slow Chance down is the weather causing games to be postponed. Averaging 18 points with shooting splits of 49/44/84 for a Saint X squad that could win the 7th region and get to Rupp is super impressive.
