The first 31 minutes and 30 seconds of Robinson’s potentially last high school game were nothing to write home about. But when Norman needed it, he came up the biggest. Ran the floor to get a putbackt which brought them within one. Then seconds later, he scored an old fashion three point play that put the Tigers up 2. It was a good thing he had the nerves to hit the free throw as it was needed to force the extra frame.
In the extra frame, Robinson played with new life and energy. Finally getting on the glass, protecting the rim and giving it all to secure a win. When he plays like that, he’s a game changer. He went from little production to having 8 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks. Major impact in a small spurt. Hopefully an example of things to come, with a semifinal tomorrow. And building into this fall when he starts his college career at UCO.

Robinson is an unique prospect, because he’s a bit of a tweener at the next level. Has the physical build of a rugged forward, but only stands around 6 foot 6. Thankfully for him, along with his broad-shoulder frame, he has a plus wingspan. He put that to use with a couple nasty blocks to protect the rim on Saturday night. And has been rebounding like an animal for Norman. What adds to the next level profile are the five three pointers he hit in the victory. Half court floor spacing threat. While also the perfect trailing big man to drain threes in quasi-transition.
Injuries derailed the end of his sophomore campaign and his 16U AAU summer. Then he was an important depth piece for the 6A State Champions Deer Creek. But now Robinson is finding his stride and logging a lot of impactful minutes for the 6A contenders. Very intriguing prospect for colleges, because with the game getting smaller and prioritizing shooting he can be a switchable, floor spacing hybrid forward.

When Robinson is dialed in as a shooter and battling at the rim, he’s one of the tougher match ups in Oklahoma. Lived on the offensive glass in a very productive rivalry game performance. While also peppering in three pointers throughout. The Norman Tiger has plus wingspan and a frame that should support lots of muscle at the next level. Meaning that as he matures with a college level weight room and with the right mindset he could become a true bully around the rim. All while remaining a floor spacing threat as a silky spot up shooter.

At the least, Robinson’s height, wingspan and strong frame will allow him to be a stretch four at the next level. The ceiling is higher though. A full healthy high school and grassroots season has seen his game flourish. Is now more confident at putting the ball on the deck to push it in transition. Or pulling up off the dribble. Has made strides and is set up for a huge senior season for a Norman team filled with talented guards.

Robinson is turning the corner as a potential perimeter prospect. He’s always had the perimeter shooting ability to be more of a three. But gangly still growing movements, then a major leg injury hampered his lateral development. Further away from his injury and a spring against national competition, he’s looking more nimble and agile. He’s finding a good balance between being the muscle and playing in the high post for a guard heavy Norman squad. With also being able to pressure in the press and switch out onto smaller guards.
The next step for him? Continuing to get on the rim more. He had a couple dunks at UCO. A good sign that he’s capable to be more explosive by winter.

Robinson missed his 16U AAU season with a knee injury, but made a full recovery. As evident by the impact of his shooting and versatility in helping Deer Creek to the Class 6A State Championship. Made strides throughout the season and looks full recovered. Now is competing at a national level and with a role he would initially play at the next level. Space the floor. Help out on the glass. Etc. One of the players in the 2026 Class who a productive summer will help him to continue to realize his untapped potential. Robinson is the type of prospect that while it’s later in his high school career, his basketball career still has many paths and higher levels that he’s capable of reaching.

Junior who missed the spring and summer following a knee injury and currently appears to be thriving as a stretch forward for the Antlers. Was on absolute fire from three in the opening contest on Thursday. Cooled off a bit in Saturday’s wins. But still hit a crucial three that helped silence a comeback attempt. Rose to the challenge as a defender and battler in the title game. Good deflections on post entry denials, and fought hard for rebounds and contesting shots. Will be interesting to track how his athleticism comes in now as he continues to gain time away from his knee injury.

The sophomore brought some crucial scrappy scores around the rim for Deer Creek in the first half when their offense was struggling. He was even in the right place, right time to take a charge. And during their second half run, he was active on the offensive glass with a putback. With good size and feel, Robinson remains a prospect to keep tabs on as he grows into his large frame.

Robinson has a next level size and is a quality shooter from beyond the arc. With Deer Creek looking to make it back to State in an always competitive Class 6A, Robinson could provide crucial gravity and floor spacing for their quick guards to attack the basket. While other players on this list might put up bigger numbers in their sophomore breakouts, Robinson hitting big threes and doing the little things could make him a star in his role this season. The potential “3 and D” Wing will need to be closely monitored this winter to see how the rest of his game fills in around his strong shooting ability.

A switch up from other prospects on this list, Robinson is more of a skill based entrant. He’s a smart off the ball mover, from hunting for perimeter shots to how he cuts to the rim. He looks like his game should age well as a “3 and D” wing. The long term question with him is will Robinson continue to grow and improve his athletic traits? That’s the difficulty with trying to judge 15-16 year olds, who knows when/if the growth spurt is going to hit? Still, Deer Creek made it to state “ahead” of schedule this past season with a young core, look for Robinson’s shooting and “knows how to play” style to be a part of potential playoff runs.
