After a tough opening weekend in Memphis, Noles bounced back in Kansas City. Was in double figures twice this past weekend, and perhaps more importantly valued the ball much better. Cutting his turnovers in half. The Norman Tiger did most his damage as a spot up specialist. But at times flashed creatively off the dribble. With a nifty spin move on drives, and even draining a tough stepback during a 15 point outburst on Sunday. The exposure to speed and athleticism of the national 15U level should serve him well as he looks to earn a bigger role with Norman.

Noles played very well for his Legynds squad at EYBL Session III in Kansas City this weekend. Luke saved his best game for his last. He shot 5-6 from the floor, including a perfect 3-for-3 from long range. Noles finished with 15 points, 5 rebounds and 3 assists in total. His 34 points over three games saw him finish the tournament averaging a solid 11.3 points per game.

Noles is such a strong shooter that he was able to crack the rotation on a senior laden team that won the Class 6A championship. Expect that valuable experience to serve as a springboard this summer. Especially as last weekend at LeGYnds training camp, Noles routinely caught fire from three. Runs hard to his spots in transition, moves smartly in the halfcourt and has deep range. Can put it on the floor a bit to take advantage of over aggressive defenders.

Shooting is one of the early tickets to playing time for freshman. Especially at the Class 6A level. Noles has already gotten his feet wet with the Tigers’ varsity team, impressing during June camps. Even if he’s more of a floor spacer this winter, Noles has the look of an all around point guard when playing with LeGYnds 14U. At Jr EYBL Peach Jam, he was dangerous off the dribble. Finishing at the rim and hitting in the mid-range. Look for Noles to have moments on an upperclassman laden Norman squad.
