Holy Angels kept things close with Edina for most of the game, but just didn’t have the size/depth to stick around those last few minutes. A big reason they were keeping things close though was the play of Arjun Jain Arjun Jain 5'10" | CG/PG Academy of Holy Angels | 2027 State MN , who scored 13 in just the first half. Though more known for his three point range, it was actually his quickness to get into the lane and finish with touch that made him so productive in this game. Arjun was able to break defenders down off the dribble before finishing high off the glass to score over the top of Edina’s size. A nice showing for the Holy Angels guard heading into his senior season.

Arjun Jain Arjun Jain 5'10" | CG/PG Academy of Holy Angels | 2027 State MN is a five-foot-ten-inch 2027 Holy Angels and Real Phenom guard. Jain handled the ball from the point well and operated very much like a traditional point. He passed the ball and movement without in many situations. Jain made drives into the paint and kicked to open shooters a few different times. Jain showed he could operate off the ball as well and looked very ready and comfortable to shoot spot-up 3-pointers.

Arjun is a very fun guard to watch when he gets hot, as he can quickly take over a game. He is so shifty and smooth with the ball in his hands, being extremely difficult to stay in front of. He is a knockdown shooter and looked great getting to his spots off the dribble at The Expo. Jain is a guard who has the potential to put up some big numbers in his senior season at Holy Angels.

Arjun is listed at 5’9, but don’t let his size fool you, as he was one of the most pound-for-pound skilled players at the event. Jain is a lights out shooter from three, and it didn’t take long for defenders to realize they can’t let him catch in space. Despite this, Arjun still managed to find pockets of space to catch and shoot out on the perimeter, knocking down a handful of threes throughout the game. A true floor stretcher out of Holy Angels.

Jain, someone who exploded onto the scene for Holy Angels this past year, is a very impressive scorer and showed that Saturday morning. He took a few minutes to feel everything out, but quickly found a rhythm offensively. With his teammate Ike Depoint getting good looks and taking a lot of attention early, Jain was able to get plenty of open looks on the outside shooting. With the defense stepping up on him, he showcased his ability to drive and finish on both sides of the rim.

Arjun Jain Arjun Jain 5'10" | CG/PG Academy of Holy Angels | 2027 State MN – Jain is a five-foot-eight-inch guard from Holy Angels that really showed off his outside shooting ability. Jain looked very comfortable either spotted up or off the dribble. Most of what I saw from Jain was off the ball, and he seemed to thrive that way. He used quickness to get to the basket and didn’t let size be a factor when finishing.
