Henry Strand Henry Strand 6'0" | SG/PG Academy of Holy Angels | 2030 State MN is a six-foot-two-inch 2030 wing from Holy Angel and played with D1 Minnesota Gold . Strand has guard skills and with further development with the ball in his hands Strand showed ability to carry the load in the 5v5 action as a primary ball and I can see him playing a secondary creator while being a prime type scorer. Strand made a number of plays in transition and his long strides enabled him to get up and down the court fairly effortlessly. Strand’s length makes him a problem for opponents defensively and it helps his team a lot on defense with his activity.

Henry Strand is a six-foot 2030 wing from Holy Angels that shows great activity on the floor grabbing loose balls, hitting the offensive glass, and blocking a shot. Strand played JV at Holy Angels last high school season as an 8th grader displays good court IQ running the floor, and speed. Strand definitely could settle in as a guard with his ball handling ability and shooting.

Henry was one of the taller kids at camp but displayed a lot of guard-like skills. He was able to handle the ball in the open floor and make plays. He was great on drives to the basket and impressed me as a passer. Strand was also able to use his size to defend opposing forwards, rebound at a high level, and score around the rim.
