Adegbite was the best player at yesterday’s showcase, and I don’t think it was particularly close. The 6-foot-6 forward could’ve scored on virtually possession at will, but he showed off some really solid playmaking skills in addition to his scoring ability. He has a solid handle and excellent strength, so he effortlessly gets to the rack and finishes cleanly with both hands, but he can also make smart spray-out passes once the defense collapses. Adegbite has good toughness and explosion, too, which he showed on a variety of contested lefty takes to the rim for and-one finishes. He strikes me as a scholarship player, especially if he can continue to improve his outside shot.

Adegbite, out of the MacDuffie School in Massachusetts, checks in at #25 among the power forwards and #108 overall. Adegbite brings tremendous athleticism to both ends of the floor; scoring with authority at the rim as a driver and also proving to be a high level rebounder and shot blocker on the other end of the floor. He’s capable of making decision from the top of the key and is also an efficient perimeter shooter in catch and shoot situations. He’s a scholarship level prospect and should be a quality commit for a program come the spring.

Adegbite was really impressive against a Winchendon front line with lots of skill and size. He had a couple of incredibly intriguing drives to the rim where he got deep into the paint and used his strong body to create space before turning around for a soft lefty finish—he has good balance and strength for his size. The senior also has really solid passing vision and unselfishness to get his teammates involved. Defensively, he can guard a variety of players because of his versatility and adds some rim protection at the hoop. Adegbite should get some scholarship looks and will continue to be a key player for MacDuffie this season.

Adegbite, a hybrid forward out of the MacDuffie School, makes his debut in the New England rankings. The 6’6″ wing is a high level athlete that can finish plays with authority in transition and is a lob threat in the half-court. He has good positional size and length and is a proven shot creator in isolation situations. He can get into his mid-range game off the bounce and is a capable perimeter shooter in catch and shoot situations. He provides defensive versatility, makes plays in passing lanes, and is a high level rebounder. He’s a true scholarship prospect that will draw a lot of attention from college coaches this winter.

picked up right where he left off in the spring and carried on his strong play into the July live period. Adegbite continued to demonstrate his ability to put the ball on the floor, attack off the bounce and finish with athleticism, rebound the basketball at an effective rate on both the offensive and defensive end, and use his length and athleticism to be a versatile defender. Adegbite also showed more and more flashes of his ability to be a threat from the perimeter and knock down open outside shots.
After picking up offers from a handful of Division II programs earlier this spring, Adegbite could see some more programs get involved in his recruitment the rest of the summer.

Adegbite has had a big spring and June, which should continue into July. The 6’5 forward attacks the basket with a purpose as he finishes strong above the rim and can make shots through contact. Adegbite can also score in the mid-range and his range extends out to the three-point line. He is a force on the boards and uses good timing to swat shots around the basket. Adegbite has picked up a couple of D2 offers this spring and summer and is looking to expand that offer over the next couple of months.

had a strong May live period that saw him pick up a few Division II offers. An elite athlete that plays with a tremendously high motor, Adegbite made highlight plays on both ends— being active on the glass and contesting shots effectively at the rim. Offensively, Adegbite shot the three ball at a high clip as he had multiple games with multiple made threes over the course of the May live period.

Adegbite is a hard playing forward who plays a lot bigger than his size. He is active on the glass. He shows that he can score the ball in many different ways. He was active on the boards finding ways to get rebounds. He can also guard different positions. Adegbite is a tad undersized at the four spot but doesn’t let it define him. He should see a ton of traction for division 2 schools.
