Another O’Connell player I have here is AJ Swinton AJ Swinton AJ Swinton 6'6" | SF Bishop O'Connell | 2024 State #134 Nation VA . Because of his length and athleticism, AJ is one of the best defenders in the state. The Florida State commit has gotten better as a shooter, which has made him more challenging to stop offensively. AJ is a guy to watch at the next level as someone who will improve big time, similar to what he did his senior year.

Swinton was the most impressive of the Oak Hill Warriors in their victory in the end. He didn’t try to overdo things when opportunities came his way and showed his ability to finish at the rim. He’s a high-major prospect worth getting to know in the 2024 class. He led the way for his squad with 20 points and also registered four steals, showing off his length defensively.
