Yarborough was super impressive yesterday thanks to his intriguing blend of size and skill. It seems like he’s getting taller with each viewing and is quickly closing in on 6-foot-4 while maintaining his fluid movement from the point of attack. He’s able to create his own shot in isolations from the wing and because he was knocking down shots early in the event, his defender knew they couldn’t leave much space, which ultimately led to Yarborough attacking off the bounce using his long strides to get to the front of the rim. The athleticism was loud as he rose up and pinned a layup off the glass after sprinting back in transition. He snagged rebounds in bulk and had no issue pushing the break himself making good decision as a passer/scorer.

Ultimately, Yarborough projects as a toolsy and valuable wing who should develop quickly under head coach Bruce Kelley and his staff over at Bullis.

-More prospect than player right now, Yarborough came in off the bench a few times this weekend and looked as if he not only belongs but has some nice long-term upside. Yarborough has good positional size, can guard up or down a position, plays hard at both ends of the floor, moves well laterally, and has the commensurate speed/leaping ability to project as an athletic 3+D wing prospect. The shooting form looked good and the handle is solid enough to get him to his spots in the half court. Bullis has developed several productive players on the perimeter that have success at the college level and beyond. And with how diverse his skillset is at this stage in his career– he has a good chance to join that group.
