Joel Speckman– Chaparral
Joel Speckman has had a great sophomore season contributing to the solid Chaparral team. He is averaging 7.5 points, 5.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks per game. Joel has a good game down low with a good set of post moves that allow him to make a difference. Also from the post he has good court vision and knows when to pass the ball to his teammates. He has a lengthy frame that allows him to block shots down low.
Jalen Page– Fairview
Jalen Page has helped lead Fairview to be the number 2 team in 5A. Jalen puts up 13.7 points a game but does all the little things to help the team win. He is unselfish with the ball and so is the whole team which makes for great ball movement. He also uses his athletic frame to grab 5.3 rebounds per game. He also has the ability to consistently knock down mid range jumpers.
Cooper McBride- Douglas County
Cooper McBride has had a good junior year putting up 10.4 points and 5.1 rebounds a game. Cooper is a point forward who can take the ball up floor and can shoot the ball from the outside. He has a good body which allows him to bang down low as well.
Isaiah Thompson– Fountain Fort Carson
Isaiah Thompson is a player who has gone under a lot of peoples radars despite putting up a double-double this year, averaging 14.4 points and 12.0 rebounds a game, big time numbers! Standing at 6’7 he is a good athlete who can run the break and throw down big dunks. He works best around the rim but can also shoot well from mid range.
