Big Shots Myrtle Beach 4 : Blue Grass Prospects
Prep Hoops SC took in the action from the Grand Strand this past weekend at Big Shots Myrtle Beach. Lets take a look at some players from the Blue Grass State that played in the event.
Deshaud St. Martin (2019) – Danville HS – NKY Force (pictured on front)
Martin 6’7 has a good set of shoulders and look to him on the floor. Martin filled the lane in transition and played physical in the paint. Martin did step-out to 12-14 feet to knock down a few shots today. Martin wasn’t afraid to seal and draw contact in the paint. Martin did at times take some plays off and needs to be more consistent with playing hard at all times.
Martin has a good skill set and it showed this weekend in the 3 times Prep Hoops had a chance to watch the NKY Force play.
Reid Jolly (2019) – Campbell County HS (Alexandria) – NKY Force
Jolly 6’4 was playing with a hurt ankle this weekend for the NKY Force. Jolly wasn’t afraid to talk a little during the game or take a charge. Jolly a wide receiver on the football field is a tough-minded kid.
Andrew Wilson (2019) – Campbell County HS (Alexandria) – NKY Force
Wilson 6’2 point guard hits baseline jumpers and makes good decisions on the floor. Wilson finds the open man and won’t look to force any situations. Wilson used the ball screen well today and connected on several 3 pointers.
Dalton Bruner (2019) – West Jessamine HS (Nicholasville) – NKY Force
Bruner 6’0 point guard was quite crafty with the ball. Bruner has a quick shot release and has ability to knockdown the 3 pointer.
Brady Dingess (2022) – Paintsville HS – Big Shots West Virginia 15U
Dingess got hurt early this weekend and sat out it with a fractured ankle. Dingess also told Prep Hoops that he plans on transferring to Paintsville HS next season. Dingess had previously attended Sheldon Clark HS in Inez.
Ka’len Siebert (2022) – Paintsville HS – Big Shots West Virginia 15U
Siebert played for Big Shots West Virginia 15U this weekend and was a pleasant surprise. Siebert 6’2 has great length and is extremely active on the floor. Siebert had 22 points and 20 rebounds we witnessed on Saturday. Siebert attended Huntington (WV) East M.S. last season he told Prep Hoops. Prep Hoops saw Siebert play in Big Shots 3 and he recorded 16 points and 13 rebounds in a win.
