The combination of this summer and The Expo gave us plenty to think about when it comes to our next rankings, and these are some of the players who made the biggest impressions. From scoring bursts and new offensive weapons to improved defense, confidence and overall impact, each player showed something that caught our attention. Some carried strong summers into the event, while others revealed a new level to their games. With the season approaching, we expect these names to keep making noise, take on bigger roles and make a strong push up the rankings.

Rose looks ready to step in and take over the leading scorer role at Yuma, and that has us expecting a big jump from him. He's a confident scorer who can create his own offense, using his speed and quickness to blow by defenders and get downhill. He's also not just waiting around for the ball but he stays active, finds open space and makes things happen in transition. That combination of scoring ability, athleticism and nonstop movement gives him plenty of ways to impact the game. He's strong, plays with really good footwork and has a smart feel for the game. What stands out is how efficient he is as he takes high percentage shots, doesn't force the action and consistently makes good decisions. That approach should translate well into a bigger role at Columbine this season. We really like Chester as a potential No. 2 option who can bring consistency, toughness and production, making him a name we expect to keep climbing in the rankings

Jordan kept impressing us every time we saw him this summer, and we think he's poised for a big role at Horizon this season. His size immediately stands out, but it's the combination of smoothness and physicality that makes him tough to handle. He can punish defenders down low, yet he also shows plenty of touch and feel around the paint and into the midrange. That versatility gives him multiple ways to score and keeps defenders guessing. When he gets going he can put points on the board in a hurry and showed he's capable of scoring in bunches. That ability to create momentum and pressure defenses gives him a lot of value. At Doherty his handles he displayed give him a natural advantage, but he plays with a guard like feel in the way he reads the floor and makes decisions. He can establish position, finish around the basket and create extra possessions with his rebounding. His footwork and touch give him different ways to score, while his toughness shows up defensively.
