Rose is a player who we have seen have some flashes for Yuma, and those flashes have kept him on the radar, and he’s stepping into an important junior year where he can be a glue guy and difference maker. Rose can be a plug-and-play kind of guard who runs the offense, gets the team in their sets, attacks off the dribblle and uses the PnR to get to who he wants, and when he’s looking to score, he’s even better of a player because it opens up the rest of the offense. He had a couple of big games this year like against Limon and Akron where he was efficient as a scorer and made the right choices. But also others like against McClave and Wiggins where they didn’t need the scoring but more of the setting the table. Now it is about finding that blend and getting his name out there as an under-the-radar player who could make an impact.
Rose showed steady growth all weekend, improving with each game and finding his rhythm. He was at his best in transition, running the floor hard and creating easy opportunities before the defense could set. Around the basket he displayed soft touch and control, finishing plays with confidence. What stood out even more was his versatility as he stepped out and showed he can operate on the perimeter, adding another layer to his game. Rose also made smart reads as a passer, keeping the ball moving and teammates involved. As he continues to put it all together, he’s trending in the right direction and becoming a player to watch
Rose is steadily growing into a dependable piece as a sophomore at Yuma, and you can see the trust building with his increased minutes. Averaging 7.2 points, he’s showing he can handle more responsibility and still make the right plays. What stands out is his poise and he combines smooth handles with strong court vision, slipping past defenders and creating opportunities for himself and others. He may not always lead the stat sheet, but his ability to control tempo, break down defenses and make smart decisions is exactly what teams need from a glue guy in the making
Rose has a cool name, but he’s got the game to match. He’s a smooth guard that we got to see this summer. At the showcase, he separated himself through effort, competitiveness, and toughness on both ends of the floor, and that puts him in a spot to excel at the varsity level. He defends with energy, communicates, and makes hustle plays that change momentum. Offensively, he finds ways to score. Rose’s drive and willingness to do the dirty work make him a player to know in this class, and that is why he makes a debut on the rankings.

came down to the showcase and wanted to make a mark, and did that with effort plays. He had his nose in plenty of plays and set the tone with tough defense. He was active in passing lanes, was disruptive on that end of the floor, and turned it into scoring opportunities for his team. He does the dirty work and is a difference-maker on the floor, and we got to see that in 3 on 3 as well as 5’s. He’s now on the radar as a player to follow. It was great to see him compete against other top players in the class to see where he measures up.
