Pensado is one of 3A’s top PG’s, and in his junior year, he put his name in as one of the best two-way guards in the class as well. Pensado was a stat sheet stuffer as he had some big games. He averaged 13.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.7 assists, and had 3.3 steals a game to go along with it. He’s a player who plays within the flow of the offense, keeps the ball popping, and is an unselfish leader. Pensado slows the game down, handles pressure, and keeps his teammates involved, and that’s what you need from a leader. This should be a year where he elevates his game as a two-way guy who opposing teams will certainly keep an eye on.

Pensado is unreal to watch because his handle is on another level. The ball looks like it’s on a string the way he controls it, weaving through defenders and slicing into gaps that barely exist. He kept the offense flowing all night, never forcing the action but always putting pressure on the defense. When he turned the corner, he was relentless attacking the hole and finishing at the rim with confidence and touch. His 20 points came within the rhythm of the game, but his impact went far beyond the stat sheet

Pendsado has been the glue and hustle piece Yuma leans on every night. Averaging 13.3 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.3 steals, he brings nonstop energy that fuels both ends of the floor. He’s constantly attacking by getting downhill, finishing strong and keeping defenders on their heels. His season high 27 shows he can take over when needed, but what makes him the true glue is how he plays with his head up, always reading the floor and making the right play. Add in his defensive instincts and ability to create turnovers, and you’ve got a player who impacts winning in every possible way

Pensado is ranked because he consistently brings energy, toughness and effort that elevate his team’s play. He attacks defenders with his quickness and burst, creating separation and finishing through contact, showing he can make things happen even against strong competition. Defensively he plays bigger than his size with hard close out, contesting shooters and locking down his man. His ability to impact the game on both ends, combined with his relentless motor and competitive mindset, makes him a difference maker and one dependable player on the floor

Pensado’s downhill scoring has been essential for Yuma’s 8-2 record, keeping opposing defenses honest at all times. Bringing the quick burst to get by defenses off the initial rip, he is a pest at the 3A level in particular. Although a sophomore, the guard has held up on the defensive end, bringing plenty of energy to mess with opposing ball handlers.

Pensado’s immediate production for one of the state’s best 3A programs has aided Yuma’s immediate success, a notable downhill scoring threat within their context. Comfortable attacking the rim in open space, the guard is assertive finding halfcourt openings, at his best attacking immediately off the catch.

Pensado’s success with 5-1 Yuma cannot be overlooked, providing steady rim pressure for that group. Producing 11.8 points per game for that group, he has carved out a niche as a complementary shotmaker, at his best while attacking the rotating defense.
