-It was my time seeing Winiarski play and I liked his feel as a guard that could slot 1-3 in the lineup for an aptly-named Loaded VA 15u group. Winiarski makes great pre-catch reads to decide if he is coming off of step-up screens looking to get to the middle of the floor or to drive baseline to attack the rim with the absence of help defenders in the key. He plays with great pace in transition, makes good decisions in tight spaces in the key, can scale up or down in the lineup defensively to provide pesky but disciplined on-ball defense, and showed good vision with the ball in his hands that is always looking to throw passes over the top in transition to ensure that his team scores before the defense is set. Would not be surprised to see him have the longest career among the prospects on this team as a phenomenal sleeper name in the state of Virginia.

One of the state’s top lead guards, Winiarski is a skilled shot maker who is very good with the basketball in his hands. He can create offense off the bounce, has good size for the position, and plays with toughness and a high basketball IQ.

The freshman lead guard for the Titans checks all the boxes of a future collegiate point guard. Winiarski is a creative finisher in the paint and pairs that with a quick, efficient release from the perimeter, making him a scoring threat at multiple levels. With his feel, skill set, and leadership traits, expect him to emerge as one of the state’s top point guard prospects in the 2029 class.

has already developed a reputation as one of the best shooters in the 804 regardless of class. Winiarski transferred to Trinity Episcopal from Amelia Academy this season. He made an immediate impact. He competed against strong competition on a nightly basis.
Playing alongside older players helped elevate his game, allowing him to grow as both a decision maker and playmaker. Winiarski’s shooting ability stands out. He showed he can contribute in multiple areas. He became a reliable scoring option and a valuable piece in Trinity’s offense.
He can space the floor and knock down shots from deep. This ability makes him a constant threat. Defenses are forced to respect him every time he touches the ball. As he develops physically, Winiarski is set to expand his overall game. He should continue trending upward over the next few years.
He’s certainly someone to keep tracking this summer and beyond.
