Winiarski was one of the top freshmen in Richmond last year, and so far this fall he’s shown he’s ready to explode as one of the top shotmakers in the Richmond area. At the CBG Fall Series he’s played some very tough and older competition and he’s flat out lit it up as he’s showing his effortless range and quick release from deep, he can get to spots and has a great pull-up from multiple levels, he’s very good at drawing and finishing through contact, and he has a swag and toughness that makes him one of the most fun players to watch in the area.

TES didn’t come out with a win against an older and bigger Mt. Zion Prep (MD) team but Winiarski nonetheless put on a show in as prolific an individual performance as we saw all weekend. The sophomore guard poured in 22 first half points on his way to 30+ for the game, keeping the Titans in striking distance throughout. Winiarski shoots as pure a ball as any you’ll find, pouring in jumpers from all over the floor with textbook mechanics off the catch and pull. He’s not a speed demon but is exceedingly smart and skilled with the ball, navigating to spots with a penchant for playing through contact around the rim. Winiarski’s foot speed may be a question mark at the highest levels but his skill level, savvy, and toughness making him one of the state’s more promising guard prospects.

-I wrote about Winiarski last week as a guard that I think should be drawing more attention at the national level and he followed that up with a masterful performance for Trinity in a win for his squad. Winiarski scored 30 points with six 3s and a slew of made FTs or transition twos to showed the balance in his offensive game. Winiarski showed me something as an on-ball defender that can really be disruptive as a high-IQ guard adept at predicting changes of direction from the ballhandler. Winiarski’s scoring bag and finishing craft in the key really stood out over the afternoon as he showed an ability to score over a slew of different types of defenders.

-Kane is kinda DMV-adjacent as a Richmond prospect but I have really liked his game in different settings this summer as an unselfish guard prospect that shows really good feel out there on the floor. Playing for a stacked AAU team, I thought Winiarski made the most of his opportunities to create on the ball while he did an excellent job attacking closeouts to make plays for himself or others as an off-ball guy. Winiarski can knock down shots off the bounce with some range, has good positional size for his age, doesn’t turn the ball over or get sped up, and is a great passer that can create in the paint or serve as an effective connector from the wings. When it’s all said and done, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him finish top 5 in the state as a versatile guard prospect with a huge ceiling.

Winiarski was another key member of Team Loaded’s adidas 3SSB championship run and continues to trend up in the 2029 class. He is one of the state’s top perimeter shooters, combining deep range with impressive shot preparation and consistency from beyond the arc. Winiarski is also a reliable ball handler and decision maker with above average quickness and a high basketball IQ. He plays with toughness and has established himself as one of Virginia’s top perimeter prospects in the class.

Winiarski is a complete guard with strong feel and skillset too him. A capable creator off the dribble but can also light it up from deep. Uses his skill and physicality to create space to operate as a scorer. He does not get sped up and can be as impactful as a distributor as well as a scorer.

Kane is one of the top shooters in the Richmond area and in the state. He played AAU with Team Loaded VA 3SSB 15U, where his squad won the national championship, and he was a key contributor and earned himself a handful of Division 1 scholarships. Kane is a dynamic scoring threat and has seemed to gain more confidence to take on a lead role for the Titans this year. He can light it up from deep, which he is known most for, but has improved drastically in attacking the rim and finishing through contact. Kane is also a great playmaker, and it’s easy to see why he’s one of the top players in his class. Trinity has a bright future with Kane at the helm.

Kane Winiarski Kane Winiarski 6'2" | PG Trinity Episcopal | 2029 State VA is one of the best shooters on the East Coast, hands down, and has really improved as a ball-handler. He will have a pivotal role for Trinity this year as the lead guard and one of the main offensive creators. Kane has really made a name for himself since transferring to Trinity last year and playing with Team Loaded VA 3SSB. He is beginning to look like a long-term Division 1 prospect with loads of potential. Be on the lookout for him to be one of the top Prep League players this season.

Another promising point guard prospect in the 2029 class, Winiarski played a big role in Team Loaded’s 15u adidas 3SSB championship. The rising sophomore has a very high basketball IQ, a good command of the basketball and is an excellent passer. He can keep defenders honest with his ability to knock down shots from beyond the arc and is active on the defensive end of the floor as well. Winiarski is shaping up to be one of Virginia’s top point guards in his class.

This rising sophomore point guard checks just about every box that a college coaches is looking for in a lead guard prospect. Winiarski has positional size, above average quickness and a high basketball IQ. He shot the ball extremely well for Team Loaded on the adidas 3SSB circuit, on his way to averaging nearly 11 points per game. In addition to his scoring ability, he sees the floor and finds open teammates both in the paint and on the perimeter. The future is very bright for the Trinity Episcopal product.
