Some of the best young players in the state of Minnesota took the court yesterday at the Border Battle! Who? We break those names down for you NOW!

[player_tooltip player_id='2916849' first='Mekhi' last='Abner'] of Minnehaha Academy (Fr). Abner talked on defense more than most that I have seen this year, he moved to the right spots on defense, worked hard in the post and played his role well. He has long arms, big hands, and a frame that really can grow into a nice prospect. Scored four times and had our boards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2419994' first='Carter' last='Cupito'] of Minnehaha Academy (8th). The young sharp shooter knocked out four threes scoring 14 points and he moved the basketball for five assists. Carter might have one of the best looking forms in the state and his court reads teaming with Green tore the Wisconsin opponents to shreds.

[player_tooltip player_id='2698860' first='Peter' last='Kiedrowski'] of Breck (Fr). Peter knocked out a couple threes and he is scoring ten a game this season but this was a tougher game for him. That said, there is a lot to work with as Peter has a feel for the game, his frame is going to be able to put a lot of good weight on while allowing him to remain agile, he's got really long arms, and overall the potential is there for him to be a good prospect.

[player_tooltip player_id='2428302' first='Max' last='Munsell'] (Soph). Max is a tough player that stands 5'9 and likely weighs about 145 and he used every pound he has to go at his opponents. A lefty player that scores nine a game for Breck, like his toughness. Scored twice getting the step after a reversal and using the right hand to extend ahead of the help. Scored a 11 for his team and several of the scores were during the 22-4 late game Breck run.

[player_tooltip player_id='2869842' first='Judah' last='Ormiston'] of Heritage Christian (Soph). Ormiston has scored seven points a game this season for his team but today he grabbed ten boards and scored five times to get himself a ten and ten double-double. Shot 4 of 13 from the field but was very active.

Others

Ryan Adey of Breck (Soph). A six foot guard with a good looking shooting stroke that hit multiple threes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2455802' first='Cobe' last='Blades'] of Breck (Fr). Blakde played both guard roles for the Stangs and he is a quick player that turned the opposing guard often and was able to get in the paint to score on four possessions.

[player_tooltip player_id='2557528' first='Ichima' last='Idoko'] of DeLaSalle (Soph). Idoko had four rebounds and a couple assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='2388674' first='Jonas' last='McCreary'] of DeLaSalle (Soph). Played of the bench.

Kamar Sandier-Howze of Minnehaha Academy (Soph). Had 10 points and eight boards in the win, we mentioned him in the Worker Role Call.

[player_tooltip player_id='2435237' first='Mason' last='Thao'] of Minnehaha Academy (Soph). Played off the bench in the rotation.

[player_tooltip player_id='2559428' first='Taaj' last='Whitlock'] of DeLaSalle (Soph). Had a rebound as the starting lead guard.

[player_tooltip player_id='1895712' first='Daniel' last='Zoa'] of Totino-Grace (Soph). Scored four times with seven boards for his eight-seven off the bench.
